Which level should I start with?
If you’re new to diode laser integration, start with Level 1. If your practice already owns a laser, you can select either Level 1 for learn-at-your-own-pace, or Level 2 In-Office Training for group implementation. If you’ve had prior training and want a tune-up, choose the Level 3 Refresher.
Are these courses PACE approved?
Yes — Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 are all PACE-approved continuing education, and each level includes a PLHA Clinical Skills Competency Certificate upon completion.
Do I need to own a laser to take Level 1?
Preferably, yes. The two-hour live skill evaluation requires access to a laser so Rebecca can assess competency. Participants will demonstrate their techniques by iPhone or Android while Rebecca provides real-time instruction, evaluates technique, and confirms competency. She will also verbally assess their understanding of procedures, tissue interaction, and clinical application.
How is Level 2 customized for my practice?
Level 2 brings personalized, on-site training to your practice — an instructor works hands-on with your team to integrate diode laser protocols into your actual operatory workflow, refine technique, and provide real-time coaching. You’ll also get team implementation strategies and clinical communication support, plus a PLHA Clinical Skills Competency Certificate and 8 hours of PACE-approved CE credit upon completion.
